Our homes have become multifunctional over the last few years. What was once merely a guest room is now an office for two. The kitchen table is a 3rd-grade classroom. With these increased and varied activities, our homes require new furnishings. Flexible space-organizing options that are practical and aesthetically pleasing are key. Submaterial’s new Divvy collection of elegant and airy residential screens work to define your personal space without confining it. And perhaps most importantly, the sound-dampening qualities of the materials used, wool felt and cork, provide acoustic separation. The residential screens are available in three unique designs. Lyric is playfully curvilinear. Basis is softly geometric. And Steno exuded perfectly updated MCM vibes.

Each screen is fabricated and hand-assembled in our New Mexico studio using modular tiles of dense wool felt, color-tinted cork, or luxurious leather. Flexible connections are made with sturdy stainless-steel rings that have a soft, satin finish. We offer standard sizes and hardware configurations and look forward to working with you to explore unique colorways.

Want to upgrade your work-from-home setup? Contact us to order a Submaterial Divvy Screen in FELT or in CORK.
